Photography Class Takes On Rosies Website

Local photographer Deborah Denker and her students from Cal Poly shot the photos for Rosies website. “I had the students from the Food Photography class at the Brooks Institute shoot at a local restaurant and I wanted to do a similar project with my Cal Poly class using an art director as well” said Denker, who teaches ‘Advertising Photography’ at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo. Denker contacted Whizbang Marketing Firm to see if they had any possible candidates and Whizbang suggested Rosies website.
“Frank Scotti at Whizbang did the art direction, plus the client was there and so was I, so the students got to hear directions from all three sides,” said Denker of the learning experience. “It was a great experience and the students really pulled it off well.”
